What's remote, and what's quoted separately
Plans are delivered remotely, by email, for Microsoft 365 and the computers your staff use. Some things fall outside them and get a written quote of their own.
- Remote, by emailMonday to Friday, 8am to 6pm UK time, excluding bank holidays. If email is down or nobody can sign in, put URGENT in the subject line and we pick it up first.
- Out of hoursOn Managed and Secure, Huntress's security team watches your computers around the clock, and Secure adds Microsoft 365 sign-ins. The helpdesk itself works weekdays.
- Office visits, servers and 24/7 coverOn-site visits, servers, more than 50 people, 24/7 cover or a mix of plans. Tell us what you need and we'll reply with a written quote.
- MigrationsMoves from Google Workspace, an email server or another Microsoft 365 tenant are fixed-price projects. See Microsoft 365 migration.
- Intune set-upBringing laptops and phones under management is a fixed-price rollout. See Intune and Autopilot setup.
How switching works
Five steps. We plan the handover around your current contract's notice period.
The form. Your team size, who looks after your IT today and when that contract can end.
Written quote. The plan, the monthly figure and the onboarding fee. Nothing starts until you agree it.
Onboarding. One month's support fee, waived on a 12-month agreement. We set up named admin accounts protected by MFA, and install the monitoring and protection agents on Managed and Secure.
Your licences can stay where they are. If you already have Microsoft 365, we manage it where it is. Move the licences to us later if you want one invoice.
Your tenant, data and domain stay yours. If you ever leave, you give 30 days' notice and remove our admin accounts.
Not sure what you need?
Start with the Microsoft 365 security audit. It is £395 fixed for up to 25 users, excluding VAT, and credited in full if you move to Managed or Secure within 30 days.
It ends in a written report: what's fine, what's at risk and what to fix first. You then choose a plan knowing what you're buying.
Need Cyber Essentials too? Support clients pay less for it: from £795 a year instead of £995, because the plan already protects and patches your computers. See Cyber Essentials.
Common questions
How much does IT support cost for a small business?
Our plans cost £9, £35 or £55 per user a month, excluding VAT, on top of your Microsoft 365 licences. The minimum is 5 users, and Managed and Secure have a £250 monthly minimum. For example, 12 people on Managed is £420 a month.
What is managed IT support?
It means a provider monitors and maintains your systems, not only fixing them when something breaks. On our Managed plan, NinjaOne monitors and patches your computers. Huntress Managed EDR protects them, watched by a 24/7 security team, and Microsoft 365 is backed up.
Is your IT support remote?
Yes. Our plans are delivered remotely, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm UK time, excluding bank holidays. Office visits, servers and out-of-hours cover can be added as a bespoke plan with a written quote.
How quickly do you reply?
The first reply comes within 2 business hours on Essentials and Managed, and within 1 business hour on Secure. If email is down or nobody can sign in, put URGENT in the subject line and we pick it up first.
Is there a long contract?
No. Plans are rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. Onboarding costs one month's support fee, waived if you sign a 12-month agreement.
Do we have to buy our Microsoft 365 licences from you?
No. If you already have Microsoft 365, we can manage it where it is. Your tenant, data and domain stay yours.
What does the Secure plan add?
Secure includes everything in Managed. It adds Huntress Managed ITDR watching Microsoft 365 sign-ins 24/7, plus security awareness training and phishing tests. Laptops and phones are managed with Intune. You also get a monthly security report mapped to Cyber Essentials controls, and the yearly Microsoft 365 audit.
